Your payslip

Every deduction, on its own line

Most payroll complaints come down to one thing: nobody can explain where the money went. Our payslip shows each statutory deduction against the figure it was calculated from, and our margin as a fixed line of its own.

Our margin is a set weekly amount. It does not rise with your rate, and it is the only thing we take — everything else is passed on in full.

What else you get

How a payment runs

Four steps between your timesheet and your bank

Every stage happens on the same working day. Nothing waits for a weekly cycle.

  1. 01

    Timesheet

    By 5pm

Your agency approves your hours and sends them over.

  2. 02

    Invoice

    Same day

We raise and issue the invoice against your assignment rate.

  3. 03

    Payroll

    Same day

Gross pay calculated, deductions applied, payslip published to your portal.

  4. 04

    Your bank

    Same day

Faster Payments transfer clears into your account.

Why contractors stay

Built around the things that actually go wrong

Late payments, deductions nobody can explain, and support lines that never pick up. Each of these exists because we have seen the alternative.

Paid the same day

Funds go out by Faster Payments the day your agency pays us. No overnight batch, no waiting for the next payroll run.

One deduction table, no surprises

Your payslip shows tax, National Insurance, pension and our margin as separate lines. Nothing is bundled or rounded away.

Full employment rights

Statutory sick, maternity, paternity and adoption pay, plus holiday pay and a workplace pension — you are our employee, not a number.

Continuity between assignments

One employment that carries across agencies and contracts. Your tax code follows you instead of restarting each time.

Insurance while you work

Professional indemnity, public liability and employers' liability cover in place on every assignment. Certificates on request.

Support that answers

Email answered by the people who run the payroll. You will not be handed between departments or given a ticket number.

Compliance

Audited, not just asserted

Every payment we make is reconciled against what was deducted and what was paid over to HMRC. That record exists whether or not anyone asks for it — which means when your agency does ask, it arrives the same day rather than after a scramble.

From April 2026, recruitment agencies carry legal responsibility for PAYE on umbrella workers they supply. Our audit trail is built for the evidence your agency will be asked to produce.

What you can hold us to

Four things we will not quietly stop doing

Every umbrella company says it is helpful and transparent. These are the specific, checkable versions of that — the ones you can call us out on.

  1. 01

We answer, and a person answers

Your email goes to the team that runs the payroll. Not a queue, not a chatbot, not a first-line script that escalates you somewhere you cannot reach.

  2. 02

We explain any deduction in writing

Query a figure and you get the calculation it came from — the gross it was applied to, the rate, and the period. Not a promise to look into it.

  3. 03

    Our margin never moves

A fixed weekly amount on its own payslip line. It does not scale with your rate, and it is the only thing we take. Every other deduction is passed on in full.

  4. 04

We pay the day we are funded

No holding your money over a weekend, no waiting for the next batch. When your agency pays us, the payment goes out and you are told it has.
